On 19th May, Mr. Zhang Zhiliang, General Consul, and Mr. Zang Yunyan, Consul of Chinese Embassy in Turkey traveled a long way to pay a visit to the site of ISDEMIR steel plant where Sinosteel MECC staffers are busy working.

Mr. Zhang Zhiliang’s delegate, accompanied by Turkey project General Coordinator Mr. Pan Xiaoyong, inspected the NO. 3 BF blower, PCI, 6-meter coke oven with the annual capacity of 1.3million ton, 300m2 sintering machine, stacker & re-claimer, and the operation condition of the BF clay gun and drilling machine in the site. They also delivered their regards to the SINOSTEEL MECC staffers working there, and debriefed the general view over the exploration in Turkey metallurgical market by SINOSTEEL MECC, undergoing projects’ condition, site security regulation, and emergency reaction arrangement.

Mr. Zhang highly appreciated the achievements of Sinosteel MECC in Turkey market. He also recognized the excellent implementation of Going Overseas Development Strategy by Sinosteel MECC, making outstanding contribution in exploring Turkey metallurgical market, expanding export to Turkey, especially for those electrical and machinery equipments with high technology, and setting a successful model for other Chinese companies. At the same time, he also emphasized that on one hand the staffers with Sinosteel MECC in the site should abide the local law and regulation to proceed the projects well and strengthen the friendship bond between China and Turkey, on the other much attention should be paid to the safety production and harmonious life. Mr. Zhang confirmed that China General Consulate in Turkey will all the way continue to provide SINOSTEEL MECC with its full respect support and services from time to time, aimed to make joint contribution to the new development of bilateral trading and economy relationship between both countries.
