April 16, 2013 , Sinosteel MECC contracted India Usha Martin Steel non-recovery coke oven coal loading the first 48 holes and smooth out the trial production of coke . The owners very satisfied with the coke quality and signed the design, equipment and engineering and inspection reports .

Sinosteel MECC in September 2010 signed the EP project of 400,000 tons non-recovery coke oven with India Usha Martin Steel Company According to the contract , Sinosteel MECC provides basic equipment design, detailed design , major equipment and refractory, on-site technical services. Affected by the Indian side , the project was official start civil construction until September 2011, which lasted 17 months of fighting, finally successfully completed and commissioned. The production of coke oven coke quality is good, and the owner has put the products use into blast furnace.

Currently, Sinosteel MECC is working on the after 48 holes oven masonry work and is expected to put into operation in September 2013 .

India Usha Martin Steel non-recovery coke oven project is the second set of EP project of non-recovery coke oven in the foreign country , the project went into operation for the company to further develop overseas non-recovery coke oven project to create a more favorable market conditions .
