On July 25^th, 2009, 160t/h Coke Dry Quenching Project (CDQ) for Liusteel was successfully put into operation. This project is on EPC basis, constructed by Sinosteel MECC.

160t/h CDQ project is the second CDQ project for Liusteel contracted by Sinosteel MECC. After the closely corporation and comprehensive communication between Liusteel and Sinosteel MECC, Sinosteel has achieved the shortest construction period of 11 months and shortest EPC contracting period with 13 months, which both break the record of shortest corresponding period in China. High appreciation was extended to SINOSTEEL MECC on the CDQ technology and services supplied by us from Liusteel.

At present, the complete equipment of this project has been working under good condition, ensuring stable trial production. Engineering and project management staff from Sinosteel MECC are uninterrupted monitoring the operation to ensure the stability and accomplishment of guaranteed production target.
