On July 5^th, 2009, India JSW Project President Mr. RAVICHANDAR expresses his congratulations to the achieving target production of 4 sets of stamping coke ovens(with 56 ovens for each battery) of JSW and the respect to all the Chinese staff from Sinosteel MECC through a congratulation letter.

SINOSTEEL MECC singed the contract with JSW, India for 1.5mtpa stamping coke oven project in March 2006. During June, 2008 to January, 2009, four sets of coke oven batteries and the corresponding by-product facilities have been successively put into production. To ensure the achievement target production, SINOSTEEL MECC has also provided one year operation guiding service to the owner. Up to July.04, 2009, four sets coke oven batteries all achieved the production target. Daily coke discharging is 224 pushes.

The smooth production of this project even more improves our confidence of the steel equipment to carry out other overseas project. At present, Phase II project of1.9mtpa coke oven battery for JSW has already commenced. Sinosteel MECC has been making effort to put forward this project to ensure the successful put into production.
