At 9:58 on Sept. 25^th, 2008, the lime kiln of Cangzhou I&S Complex phase I successfully produced quality active lime. To date lime kiln project has officially put into operation.

6×150m3 lime kiln project for Cangzhou I&S Complex, contracted by Sinosteel MECC, with designed annual production of 25×104t, among which 11×104t lump lime are used for steel making, 14×104t powder lime are used in sintering. Sinosteel MECC has making great effort to deal with all the difficulties since the ground breaking in Sept, 2007, ensuring the expected goal of simultaneous putting into production with 1# 2350m3BF and 150t converter, satisfy production need of Phase I sintering and steel making.
