The ZISCO 2.5mtpa Pelletizing Project contracted by Sinosteel Equipment & Engineering Co., Ltd. in Middle East recently received the "National Quality Project" award for its advanced engineering philosophy, first-rate pelletizing technology and excellent construction management experiences.

Established in 1981 and approved by the State Council,  "National Quality Project" award was the earliest and cross-industry award with the highest level in project engineering and construction field.

ZISCO Project was contracted in 2016 on EPC basis, including project engineering, equipment supply, mechanical equipment installation supervision, commissioning and personnel training.

The grate-kiln technology,featuring advanced equipment and high automation, was applied in the project for which Sinosteel also developed the material balance system and innovate the construction techniques. The main technical and economical indexes were all beyond the requirements of contract and reached international advanced level. The plant has achieved zero discharge of waste water and residue, other than low fuel and power consumption and production cost.

 ZISCO Pelletizing Project 

With four months ahead of schedule, the project was completed to be a model of EPC projects contracted by Chinese companies in Middle East.

Up to now, Sinosteel has received 6 "National Quality Project" awards and 8 "Industry Quaity Project" awards.
