On November 3, 2020, material yard and sintering project contracted by Sinosteel Equipment & Engineering Co., Ltd. (Sinosteel MECC) for Shiheng Special Steel Group Co., Ltd. (Shiheng Special Steel) was successfully put into production. The project includes a hermetic intelligent material yard processing 24 million tons raw material per year (to feed 2x1460m³ blast furnaces, 2x265m² sintering machine and coking plant) and 2x265m² sintering machines.

The sintering machines were operating stably since started production, featuring high efficiency, low consumption and low emission, with coefficient reaching 1.415t/h·㎡, waste heat boiler steam not lower than 100kg/t-s and power consumption per ton ore not higher than 36Wh/t-s.
