The successful production of long steel production line of Fangchenggang steel base of Liuzhou Iron & Steel Group on May 22, 2020 marked another milestone of Sinosteel Equipment & Engineering Co., Ltd. (Sinosteel MECC) following the start-up of 7.5m large-capacity top-charging coke oven battery.

The long production project is designed to produce an overall annual capacity of 5.8 million tons. There are 4 rebar production lines and 3 wire rod production lines constructed in parallel, which is the first time of metallurgical industry worldwide.

All long production lines are equipped with the latest state of the art controlled rolling and controlled cooling process as well as its matched key equipments which are independently designed by Sinosteel MECC, resulting in much lower cost while improving the product’s property. The technology was also recently listed in the Fastmarkets “Global Awards for Steel Excellence 2020” Finalists”.
