Recently, China Exploration & Design Association published the “Ranking of Project Management Revenue and EPC Contract Value Completed by Enterprises in Exploration and Design Industry in 2013", in which Sinosteel MECC ranks 14th in the whole industry and 3rd in metallurgical construction industry with its completed EPC contract value in 2012. Meanwhile, the company ranks 10th in the whole industry and 1st in metallurgical construction industry the completed overseas EPC contract amount.

It is a nationwide authoritative ranking organized by China Exploration and Design Association, which, since 2003, annually organizes an evaluation based on the business achievement made by enterprises undertaking EPC projects during the previous year, with purpose to motivate enterprises to continuously develop EPC project market, improve project management level, accelerate connection with international market and constantly improve comprehensive strength.

The above ranking statistics doesn’t contain completed contract value of its wholly-owned subsidiary Sinosteel Engineering Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. which ranked 83rd for business revenue of project management, 44th for completed engineering contract value, and 65th for completed overseas EPC contract value.
