On Dec 15^th, 2007, SINOSTEEL MECC successfully won the contract to supply T Group with complete set of continuous slab casting line, strip hot rolling line, oxygen plant and water treatment plant for whole factory after over one year effort. SINOSTEEL MECC was in receipt of the down payment on Jan 22, 2008, from where the contract was formally turned into effect with 18 months construction period. The contract turns into reality the dream of SINOSTEEL to be the very first Chinese company to export continuous slab casting line and strip hot rolling line to overseas customers, reflecting that the latest, rapid progress of Chinese iron & steel industry reaching higher level and standard as well as that the solid market foundation SINOSTEEL MECC has constructed in Turkey.

Group is one of the most famous iron & steel companies in Turkey. Under the context of iron & steel industrial structure transformation from long products to flat products in Turkey, the customer planned to newly establish a steel plant with 1.1 million tons capacity. The customer considers to procure steel making system from Europe, and awarded the contract of continuous slab caster and rolling mills to SINOSTEEL MECC. The customer requires the newly constructed factory feature advanced state of arts, high equipment standard, high efficiency of production. Presently SINOSTEEL MECC has organized work team for the contract performance and is rapidly carry out the project. In the implementation of internationalized management strategy of SINOSTEEL MECC, the project is aimed to be constructed into the sample factory for CCM and CSP of SINOSTEEL MECC in overseas.
