Sinosteel Equipment & Engineering Co., Ltd. (Sinosteel MECC) signs a contract wth Yunnan Yukun Iron & Steel Group (Yukun Group) to supply a sinter plant on EPC basis at the start of 2021.

Yukun Group is a giant private steel producer, in the progress of planning a number of upgrading and renovation projects including blast furnace, sintering, pelletizing and steel rolling.

Sinosteel will supply two sinter production lines with annual output amounting to 9.9 million tons per year of sinter feed. The scope includes technological process and supported facilities, waste heat boiler, blast furnace return mine and coke system, inspection laboratory system before iron making, as well as civil works.
