High speed bar mill supplied by Sinosteel Equipmetn & Engineering Co., Ltd. (Sinosteel MECC) for Fujian Sangang Minguang Co., Ltd. (Sangang) successfully completed hot test run on January 28, 2021, and first piece was delivered to cooling bed at one time. 

The main processes applied in the project consists of advanced hot direct rolling, high temperature hot charging and double hot rolling independently developed by Sinosteel MECC with intellectual property rights. The processes allow low OpEx, high productivity and promoted product quality.

The project was designed to upgrade the original line to high speed bar mill, including engineering, equipment supply, installation and commissioning.
