BACK CuDeco Rocklands 3mtpa Copper Processing Plant, Australia
SHARE:

Duration: 2013 - 2016

Processing capacity: 3,000,000t/a, 9000t/d

Project overview:

CuDeco's copper mine located in Cloncurry, northwest of Queensland Australia, and 780 kilometers to Townsville in the east, with solid infrastructure around.

High grade native copper, cobalt (coexist with pyrite) and magnet are contained in raw ore and could be separated after processing. Copper was mined in open pit, with application of complex processing technology of crushing-HPGR-scrubber separation-jigging-spiral chute-table separation-ball mill-flotation-vertical mill-filter by Australian industrial standards and Queensland mining regulations. The project has integrated world class equipments, 90% of which were made in China.

In the aspect of engineering, Sinosteel MECC organized experts and qualified local engineers for design review and optimization and completed 3D design. The modularization and preassembly engineering for steel structure and pipeline has efficiently reduced difficulties and cost of site construction.
