Recently, China Metallurgical Construction Association organized the evaluation of quality projects in metallurgical industry 2013 according to the Evaluation Method for Quality Projects in Metallurgical Industry. The No.4 blast furnace project contracted by SINOSTEEL MECC for ISDEMIR was rewarded with “Quality Project in Metallurgical Industry of 2013”.

The award (ministerial level) is selected all-China in metallurgical construction industry each year, aiming to implement the national “Quality Invigoration Program”, encourage the enterprises of building, prospecting and engineering, construction and supervision to enhance scientific management, improve project quality and investment benefit. Any project rewarded with such honor represents highest level in metallurgical industry of China.
