Sinosteel MECC is honored as “the Most Reliable General Contractor” by Hanzhong Iron and Steel Co,. Ltd. of Shaanxi Iron and Steel Group, for its outstanding contributions in the technology integration project of post-earthquake reconstruction, one of the key projects of industrial integration and technical transformation deployed in the iron and steel industry development by Shaanxi Province.

The project includes one set of 1080m3 blast furnace, two sets of 240m2 sintering machine, one set of 10m2 shaft furnace as well as utility systems of the whole plant. Since the signing of contract in December 2012, Sinosteel MECC has organized an elite group and gave full potential of its capability in resource integration. In the end, the blast furnace, sintering machine of Phase-I and shaft furnace and sintering machine of Phase-II were successfully completed and put into operation respectively in December 2011, January 2012, April 2012 and July 2012, which was highly praised by customer.
