After two months of painstaking joint effort and negotiation of both sides, SINOSTEEL MECC formally signed contract with Louzhou Iron & Steel Group to build a new No.2 360m² Sinter Plant. The total contract price reaches 300 million RMB. SINOSTEEL MECC is responsible for design, equipment procurement, civil work, equipment erection, and commissioning. The whole construction period will be 11 months.

Liuzhou Iron & Steel No.2 Sinter Plant is the key construction project invested to implement iron & steel industrial policy and to strengthen its competitive power. This project is also the largest sinter plant project SINOSTEEL MECC ever undertook. The contract signing shows not only the even closer cooperation between MECC and Liuzhou Iron & Steel but also the rapid progress made by MECC in the exploration of sinter plant market. The progress will also help MECC to better explore the sintering projects in both domestic and overseas market.
