On July 23, 2011, the battery C in 4# coke oven of JSW was successfully put into production.. after this, all four batteries in 1.9mt coke oven project for JSW which all contracted by Sinosteel Equipment & Engineering Co., ltd (abbreviated by Sinosteel MECC) have gradually put into production.

Sinosteel MECC and JSW singed the contracted in 2007, this project is included four batteries. each of 72 ovens with 4.3 meter carbonization chamber. This is the largest tamping-type coke oven project contracted by Chinese Companies export to overseas.

The 2008 International Economic Crisis led the project once suspended, however, with the active promotion of Sinosteel MECC, In 2009, the project was restarted.

In resent year, Sinosteel MECC has built 0.4 million tones of non-recovery coke oven for SISCO, 1.5million tones of stamping coke oven for JSW, 0.42 million tones of stamping coke oven for JSL and 0.4 million tones of non-recovery coke oven for USHA MARTIN. These works won high praise from the owners.

Since the beginning of the project, Sinosteel MECC overcame the negative factors, made full use of the organization and guarantees capacity, and conducted the project construction with high enthusiasm and rigorous attitude, which ensured the schedule of the project and gained the praise and acknowledgement from the owner.
