At local time of 16:00 on May 10th, 2011, all four hot blast stoves in the 4# blast furnace of ISDEMIR steel plant constructed by Sinosteel MECC were successfully ignited.

The 4# blast furnace of ISDEMIR steel plant had the effective volume of 3000M³, which was the largest blast furnace project constructed by Chinese company in Turkey with the mode of EP + technical guidance, also the largest blast furnace project constructed by Chinese company in the overseas. The success of this project had the profound impact on the market, and it was an important milestone. Therefore, Sinosteel MECC has highly concerned the implementation of this project, on the basis of striving to overcome the international financial crisis and other negative factors and taking the full funds of this project back in early 2010, we constantly strengthened the communication and contact with the owner, and actively promoted the implementation of this project, and strictly controlled the quality of this project, to ensure the successful completion of this project.

The all four hot blast stoves in the 4# blast furnace of ISDEMIR steel plant were successfully ignited, which has laid a solid foundation for the successful production of this BF project.
