On June 27, 2011 the hot commission of the 2700mm plate Mill in relocation and renovation project of Chongqing Steel constructed by Sinosteel MECC was succeeded by one time.

The plant area of this project was 85,000 square meters, the steel structure was about 12,000 tons, the concrete was about 80,000 cubic meters, the weight of device was about 25,000 tons, of which the weight of new equipment was about 9,000 tons, to utilize the old equipment and to transform the old equipment were about 16,000 tons weight. Since the project contract was signed on April 2010, Sinosteel MECC has highly concerned and carefully organized and strictly managed to ensure the schedule of each network node. On February 10, 2011, the production line on the old plant area of Chongqing Steel was shutdown; Sinosteel MECC only took 115 days to complete the relocation, transportation, renovation, installation and debugging of the equipments for the whole line, and the commission was succeeded by one time, creating the fastest record in the industry and obtaining the favorable comments.
