The second 265m² sinter plant project of Xinjiang Bayi (Group) Corporation, contracted by SINOSTEEL MECC, was heated up on Aug.25^th, 2008, charged and ignited on 3 am of Sep.3rd, and smoothly produced quality sinter ore by 5 am. Up to then the hot commissioning of the whole line was completely successful.

The second 265m² sinter plant project of Baosteel Group Xinjiang Bayi was signed on July 27, 2007, with stipulated construction period of 12 months. All of the equipments including super wide and overweight equipment such as mixer, granulator shall be manufactured in inland because of the remote location of Xinjiang and without easy transport access. Same with the first 265m² sinter project for Bayi, this sintering project is one of most difficult and farthest projects in domestic China. During the construction, snow storms in southern of China and 7.9-magnitude earthquake occurred in the southwestern province of Sichuan caused great influence on equipment transportation. SINOSTEEL MECC achieved the project under the construction plan and won the high appreciation from the project owner through all the worker’s careful organization, scientific management and hard work.

Presently the second 265m² sinter plant is undergoing trial production. SINOSTEEL MECC’s work team for the project is now working hard to ensure the successful final acceptance, and to pave the way for its further exploration in Xinjiang Bayi project market.
