On Aug.8th, 2008, the final acceptance test of India SISCOL 0.4MTPA non-recovery coke oven project contracted by SINOSTEEL MECC was passed, SISCOL immediately signed final acceptance certification (FAC) and agreed to pay quality assurance deposit recently. To date above project was completely success.
This coke oven project is the first non-recovery type coke oven SINOSTEEL MECC ever contracted from overseas market. SINOSTEEL MECC is responsible for basic design of civil work, detail design of coke oven proper, main equipment supply as well as heating up and operation guidance. With the hard work of SINOSTEEL MECC’s engineering experts and site operators, former 48 chambers and present 48 chambers was respectively put into production on Feb.16th and Nov.5th, 2007. After putting this project into production, SINOSTEEL staffers strengthened guiding Indian technicians on temperature adjustment of coke oven, scheduling of production and operation, ensuring the successful final acceptance.
The successful acceptance of SISCOL 0.4MTPA non-recovery coke oven project is the achievement of SINOSTEEL MECC’s high attention on later stage management and project final work, building a good reputation and paving the way for further explration in India engineering market.
