Since 2008, Sinosteel MECC has gained prominent effect through paying high attention to management and project ending work, while improving the ability of project execution to better the implementation of critical projects. Sinosteel MECC’s Kazakhstan MST coke oven and by product project, Turkey ISDEMIR PCI project and Indian NINL 180m² sintering machine project have respectively passed pre-acceptance test, performance test and final acceptance.

Kazakhstan MST 45000m³/h coke oven and by-product project is the first general contract project between Sinosteel MECC and ARCELORMITTAL Group. Since Nov.28^th, 2007 when the project was completed and put into trial-production, experts with Sinosteel MECC had been staying in site all the time to ensure the smooth operation of trial production. After seven months of production escort, the guarantee figures are all reached or are even better than those stipulated in contract. On May 28^th, 2008, the owner signed the pre-acceptance certification to initiate the commercial operation from Nov.28^th, 2007.

Since ISDEMIR 1#（1500m³）、2#（1500m³）、3#（2500m³）PCI project was put into commercial operation from Nov.15^th, 2007, the PCI ratio oscillated around 50-60 kg/t·Fe .With the lack of operation skill by the owner’s staff. To quickly complete the ending work, Sinosteel MECC sent BF operation expert team to the site in April, 2008, to better the operation of PCI and BF. Under the guide of the expert team, coal injection capability had been significantly improved. Coal pulverizing capacity and injection capability could achieve 60t/h and 150kg/t·Fe respectively after two weeks’ performance test, hitting a new record of Turkey BF PCI. The owner highly appreciated the excellent project management capability and high-quality technical services of Sinosteel MECC, and signed performance test acceptance report on June.7^th, 2008.

Indian NINL 180m2 sintering machine project was put into production in 2005. Sinosteel MECC actively organized manufacturing and technical experts to resolve problems for many times in India. Indian NINL formally informed Sinosteel MECC that they had signed FAC on June.17th, 2008 and would pay the deposit of quality assurance soon. The series success of above three projects reflects the outstanding work of Sinosteel MECC, establishing excellent business credit for future projects in Kazakhstan, Turkey and India.
