On Dec 15th, 2005, Indian ISPAT 198M2 Sintering Machine, contracted by SINOSTEEL MECC, was successfully put into production, and produced quality sinter ore. At present, the line operation is stable, and wins the high appreciation from the owner.

Indian ISPAT sintering project is the first sintering project contracted by SINOSTEEL MECC in the overseas market. The project is designed to produce annually 2.24 million tons. SINOSTEEL MECC is responsible for the engineering, equipment supply, software programming, and site commissioning. Since August of 2003, SINOSTEEL MECC had begun to work on the project, although the project was ever suspended for 8 months due to the owner’s lack of funds, SINOSTEEL MECC’s working team still achieved the record of shortest construction period in India and very good operation record through their hard effort. The project will surely build a solid foundation for the further exportation of overseas market by SINOSTEEL MECC, especially for the Indian market.
