On November 15th, Turkey ISDEMIR officially signed on the certificate of business operation of PCI Sinosteel MECC contracted for its No.1 (1300 m3), No.2 (1300m3) and No.3 (2000m3) blast furnaces. And the PCI project has been officially put into business operation to date.

The contract for PCI of ISDEMIR was signed in 2004. SINOSTEEL MECC’s scope covers design, equipment supply, construction, commissioning guidance. The construction began from the end of 2005, and the system underwent no-load commissioning from February 9th, 2007, and hot commissioning on May 18th, 2007. During the course of contract performing SINOSTEEL MECC strictly followed ISO9001 quality management system to guarantee the successful performance test through its careful organization and scientific management.

The success of the project will help SINOSTEEL MECC further explore the metallurgical market in Turkey.
