SINOSTEEL MECC contracted No.1 and No.2 Coke Oven Project for Xinjiang Bayi Iron & Steel Plant of Baogang Group. In the wake of putting No.1 coke oven into production on 23rd November, Sinosteel MECC put No.2 coke oven into production on 16th December, 2007, after heating up of 3 months. Both No.1 and No.2 coke oven were put into production to date.

Baogang Group and Xinjiang Bayi Iron & Steel Plant highly appreciate the capability of SINOSTEEL MECC to contract and manage large scale coke oven construction. This project will consolidate the basis on which SINOSTEEL MECC further explores domestic and overseas coke oven engineering market.
