At 19:49 on Sept.25^th, 2008, the first qualified slab slowly moved out form the furnace after reheating furnace’s one-month heating up. To date Cangzhou I&S Complex Phase I reheating furnace for 1250mm hot rolling project achieved success in one time and officially put into operation.

The 1250mm hot rolling reheating furnace is regenerative walking-beam reheating furnace, with 33m effective body length, 11.74m inner chamber width, per-hour tapping amount of each furnace of 2MT. The success hot commission provides guarantee for whole line production of CCM and 1250mm hot rolling.

On the same day, 1250mm hot rolling production line constructed by the Owner and China First Heavy Industries was simultaneous put into production with reheating furnace contracted by Sinosteel MECC.
