The ceremony of signing contract for No.1 40,000 tons galvanizing line was held on 24^th of March 2004 in Guangzhou JFE Steel Plate Co. Ltd. The vice president Mr. Li Huimin and Mrs Gao Yinglin of SINOSTEEL MECC, the leader of Guangzhou JFE Steel Plate Co. Ltd., relative equipment manufacturers, designing institute, supervision company and construction company attended this ceremony.The cooperating equipment manufacturing contract with value of 110,000,000 RMB was signed in this ceremony, as well as the design contract.SINOSTEEL MECC will be responsible for supplying all of the equipment manufactured domestically. And the project period will be 23 months. This contract is the first contract of SINOSTEEL MECC for general supplying and managing complete set of equipment. It is a strict test of SINOSTEEL MECC' managing level, and will improve our managing level. In the meantime, this contract will found a good base for the cooperation between SINOSTEEL MECC and Guangzhou JFE Steel Plate Co. Ltd, further for of NO. 2 400,000tons galvanizing line and 1,500,000tons cold rolling project.
