On Feb.23 2005, with the final confirmation of ISDEMIR, the Contract between SINOSTEEL MECC and ISDEMIR for ISDEMIR’s 300m² sinter plant was signed and came into force. The contract volume is about US$35m and the project expected to be 27 months long. So far this is China’s largest overseas sintering project. At present, SINOSTEEL MECC has made the arrangement accordingly to carry out this project to ensure the construction and start-up of the operation as scheduled.
