On May 20th, 2015, the special program of intelligent manufacturing equipment development 2013--Intelligent Fume-associated Multiple-pollutant Control System jointly undertaken by Sinosteel Tiancheng Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. and Wuhan Gangdian Co., Ltd. successfully passed the acceptance inspection.
Nine experts led by the Secretary-general of Technology and Equipment Committee of China Association of Circular Economy were debriefed by the project team, reviewed the inspection documents and visited the project application site for verification. The expert team agreed that: since its operation in October of 2014, the project has been running stably, with various indexes, such as fume control capacity, pollutant (dust, SO2, NOX, PM2.5 particles, etc.) emission concentration, energy conservation and consumption reduction capacity and system reliability, have reached and partially exceeded the standard expected for the project, therefore satisfied the acceptance requirements. The investment for intelligent parts, whose localization rate is 80.5%, accounts for 37.7% of the equipment investment, indicating a significant breakthrough of intelligent technology and equipment application in the fume-associated multiple-pollutant control field.
The project is a part of intelligent manufacturing equipment development special program set up by the National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology as well as Ministry of Finance. The project has been applied to the 2×220MW generation units of Wuhan Gangdian Co., Ltd. The whole system consists of denitrification system, dedusting system, desulphurization system and intelligent coordinating management control system, with functions of intelligent sensing, intelligent control, control optimization and intelligent management for fume-associated multiple-pollutant control, thus realize the comprehensive control. The application of the project has brought outstanding environmental, social and economic benefits to Wuhan Gangdian Co., Ltd., by remarkably reducing the emission of NOX, SO2, dust and PM2.5 particles, decreasing the system energy consumption by 32.8%. Meanwhile, Sinosteel Tiancheng obtained three patents during the project execution, and worked out the “General Technical Specifications for Bag Type Dedusting Project” (HJ2020-2012).
The completion of this project improves, on one hand, China’s self-innovation capability in multiple-pollutant control and plays an important leading and demonstrating role for the application of intelligent technology and equipment in fume-associated multiple pollutants control. On the other hand, it also enhances the comprehensive capability of Sinosteel Tiancheng in fume-associated multiple pollutants control field, thus actively promote the industry revitalization and product structure adjustment..
