After 12 months of hard working of SINOSTEEL staff, 4 sets of TRT system contracted by SINOSTEEL MECC for No. 1, 2, 3, 4 blast furnace of Tangshan Guofeng Iron & Steel company had been put into operation and got connected with grid respectively on Sep 28th, Oct 17th, Dec 10th, Dec 24th, 2006.

In the technical design for 4 sets of TRT, SINOSTEEL applied the new concept of two way bypass valve. After the TRT system was put into operation, the BF top pressure remains stable and the working status of the blast furnaces has been greatly improved. During the course of project construction, SINOSTEEL MECC working team strictly followed and executed the TRT technical specification, ISO9001 quality management system, GB/T24001-2004 environmental management system, and GB/T28001(OHSAS18000:1999) occupational health and safety management system. Presently the four sets of TRT have achieved the sound operation status that is as same as or even better than the designed standard, and had brought Tangshan Guofeng Company with outstanding economic profit. The project owner highly appreciates the service attitude and the strong technical strength of SINOSTEEL MECC. The successful TRT connection to grid of Tangshan Guofeng may consolidate the foundation for the further exploration of SINOSTEEL MECC in TRT engineering market.
