The No.1 coke oven of Huoqiu 3mtpa steel complex contracted by Sinosteel Equipment & Engineering Co., Ltd. was loaded on April 26, 2019 and discharged coke on April 28, marking the smooth completion and production of the project. 

The contract was signed in July 2012 and started construction in August. Due to some reasons of the customer, the project was suspended in June 2014 and experienced incidents including transfer of the shares of the original owner's major shareholders and withdrawal of the second shareholders. During this period, after painstaking coordination negotiations between Sinosteel and all parties, a work resume agreement was reached at the end of June 2018 after a four-year shutdown, and construction began in July 2018. Sinosteel has called in all capable strengths and eliminate many unfavorable factors, such as the remaining problems caused by long-term shutdown, long supply cycle of some equipments, short construction period and the hundred-year worst weather, so as to ensure the smooth completion and commissioning of the project. Sinosteel Equipment & Engineering Co., Ltd. was awarded "Excellent Construction Company" by the customer for this important achievement in the construction of 3mtpa steel complex.
