The CuDeco 3mtpa Copper Beneficiaiton Project contracted by Sinosteel Equipment & Engineering Co., Ltd. received the National Quality Project Award 2018-2019 recently.

The Award is the highest national project quality award established by the State Department in the construction field. The award of 2018 raised the bar of project construction quality, which also increased the conditions and requirements of the assessment.  

As the first non-ferrous beneficiaition project completed by Chinese companies in developed countries, the CuDeco 3mtpa Copper Beneficiation Project adopted the gravity separation technology such as jigging, combined with the traditional ball mill plus flotation. The design and construction has followed strictly according to the Australian standard with the use of three-dimensional design and has been highly recognized and appreciated by the customer. It is a demonstration factory of Chinese design, Chinese equipment and Chinese project management in Australia, and also a model for Sino-Australian cooperation in the development and construction of Australian mining projects. It has not only further improved the project management level and market competitiveness of Sinosteel, but also laid the foundation for Chinese companies to enter the Australian mining market. 

Up to now, Sinosteel projects in Turkey, India, Iran, Australia and other countries have won national or industry quality awards, including 5 national quality awards and 8 industry quality engineering awards.
