Recently, Sinosteel Equipment & Engineering Co., Ltd. (Sinosteel MECC) signed contract with Turkey's Erdemir to spply blower house, including engineering and equipments, for a 3000m³ blast furnace at Isdemir Plant in Iskenderun.

Erdemir is among the largest steelmakers worldwide, with its liquid steel production capacity of 9 million tons per year. Its Eregli steelworks focus on flat steel production (hot-rolled coil, cold-rolled coil, hot-dip galvanised coil, hot-rolled plate and tinplate) while the Iskenderun plant produces both flat (hot-rolled coil) and long steel (billet, rebar and wire rod).

Sinosteel MECC started extensive cooperation with Erdemir group in metallurgical field as early as 2006 - Sinosteel MECC successfully completed projects of blast furnace, coking and steelmaking for Isdemir and Eregli, and was highly recognized for its excellent project quality, as well as efficient and perfect customer service.
