On 27th, July, 2007, Sinosteel MECC signed the contract with Bayi Iron & Steel Corporation of Bao Steel Group for the Second 265 m² sinter plant on Turnkey basis. This is the second 265m² sinter project undertaken by MECC in Bayi Iron & Steel Corporation in the wake of the successful contracting the first one in 2006 in BT manner. The first 265 m² sinter plant runs well after being put into operation, with which Bayi Steel will be capable of bettering raw material constitution, reducing energy cost, and improving the products quality. The owner highly appreciated MECC for both its excellent performance under the project and economic benefit arising from the operation. Therefore, the owner exclusively invited MECC for the bid negotiation of the second 265 M² sinter plant project and awarded the contract as same.

This signing of the 265 M² sinter project contract of Bayi Iron & Steel Corporation of Baosteel Group not only manifests that MECC’s technical and managing capacity has won the owner’s trust but also paves the way for MECC’s maintaining the key custormer as Bayi Steel as well as for its further exploring domestic and overseas sinter plant market. The construction was immediately started from the next day (28th, July) right after the contract signing so as to save more time and to further ensure the quality for the project execution. Right now everything is going well.
