At 15:30 on Sept. 16t^h, 2008, in company with the sound of hot metal ladle, the first hot metal ladle for No.1 2350m³ BF of Cangzhou Zongheng Iron and Steel Complex contracted by Sinosteel MECC had slowly driven to casting house dragged by locomotive. The hot metal is flashed, the machine is roaring and 60t hot metal had been cast into pig iron in 20 minutes. So this will be as a symbol, i.e. hot load test-run of 6m double chain roller type pig casting machine for Cangzhou Zongheng Iron and Steel Complex contracted by Sinosteel MECC is successful and Cangzhou Zongheng Iron and Steel Complex had already produced first batch of iron products.

From starting on Nov., 2007, pig casting machine project of Cangzhou Zongheng Iron and Steel Complex with capacity of 3000t pig iron per day had been provided with ability of putting into operation within half of year under the organization of Sinosteel MECC and overcoming many difficulties，such as constructing in winter and design change and so on. The successful operation of this pig casting machine will solve the problems of nowhere to release BF hot metal for Cangzhou Zongheng Iron and Steel Complex before the 150t converter system putting into production or in case of emergency, and it also provides the facilities for overall putting into production of Cangzhou Zongheng Iron and Steel Complex.
