BACK SISCOL Non-recovery Coke Oven with 400,000t/a Capacity

SISCOL 400,000t/a Non-recovery Coke Oven, contracted by SINOSTEEL MECC, was successfully put into production with 6 months of hard work by SINOSTEEL Staffers, in the wake of successful output of quality coke with former 48 chambers on Feb 16th 2007. The present 48 chambers of the coke oven was ignited on Aug 30th and put into production on Nov 5th. To date the SISCOL coke oven with total 96 chambers was completely put into production.

This coke oven project is the first non-recovery type coke oven SINOSTEEL MECC ever contracted from overseas market. SINOSTEEL MECC is responsible for basic design of civil work, detail design of coke oven proper, main equipments supply as well as the oven heating up and operation guidance. SISCOL highly appreciates the engineering capacity and service standard of SINOSTEEL MECC, and also signed contract with SIONSTEEL MECC for its Phase II project of 100,000t/a expansion in May of 2007, which is undergoing now. These two projects are the result of close cooperation between SINOSTEEL MECC and SINOSTEEL INDIA, presenting the coordinating and competitive strength of subsidiaries of SINOSTEEL as well as laying a solid foundation for exportation of mechanical and electrical equipments and exploration of metallurgical engineering in India Market.
