On June 6, 2014, No.1 High-Speed Coil Deformed Bar Mill for Rolling Mill Project Phase II of Tangshan Donghua Steel Co., has passed the hot test successfully in one time only.

The Rolling Mill Project Phase II of Donghua Steel is designed to produce 2×600,000-tpy products of Φ5.5～16mm plain wire rods and coil deformed bars. Main steel grades include carbon structural steel, high-quality carbon structural steel, low-alloy steel, cold forging steel, spring steel and welding rod steel. The production line is high level configured, compared with other similar ones, with dual regenerative walking beam type reheating furnace with evaporative cooling, Sundsvall bundling machine and finishing mill manufactured by Harbin Hafei Industry Company.

Since the construction started on April, 2013, Sinosteel MECC has actively coordinated design, equipment manufacture and construction, and finally guaranteed the project to start operation as scheduled with required quality.
