On November 29, 2019, the last battery of India Jindal Steel and Power Ltd. (JSPL) 1.9mtpa coke oven with 3mtpa by-product project, which was general contracted by Sinosteel Equipment & Engineering Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Sinosteel MECC"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sinosteel ENTEC, has been officially put into operation under the witness of Mr. Naveen Jindal, chairman of JSPL, and the project team from both parties jointly! The completion of the project not only marks that Sinosteel ENTEC has set up another new reference in the Indian market, but also refreshes many following historical records of the coking project in India:

● the AS process for 3mtpa chemical production line of the project is the fastest one to reach the performance target in the coking industry of India.

● for the 4.3m 72 chamber coke oven battery, it only took 9 months from commencement to completion for each single battery, which is a new record of the shortest period for the construction in the coking industry of India.

● the three coke ovens that have been put into operation not only achieve the design capacity, but also create the record that produce 76 heats daily of each battery for 72 chamber coke oven, which is beyond the design capacity.
