Based on the advantages it forms on the complete set of equipment supply and its excellent sales records, SINOSTEEL MECC won the contract of residual heat furnace under the Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) project of Baotou I/S among the furious competitions participated by many famous domestic suppliers, and signed the contract on April 30. Total contract price is 56.38 million RMB. The contract supply scope covers design, equipment procurement, installation supervision, and commissioning. Whole construction period will last for 12 months.

The total investment will be worth of 2.2 billion RMB. The project with installed capacity of 2X150000 Kw imported advanced technology and key equipments from Mitsubishi of Japan, and is one of the largest CCPP projects under construction in China. The contract awarding to SINOSTEEL MECC under this project shows evidently the new breakthrough in SINOSTEEL MECC’s exploring in the metallurgical energy conservation engineering market, and paves the way for its further exploring in both domestic and overseas market of metallurgical energy conservation and environmental protection, and for its discovering new points of profit growth.
